Let's see here.... Fall semester started. It's insane. I have 9 classes.
I have a girlfriend. She rocks. Her name is Rachel. It's kinda nice dating someone I actually have ALOT in common with. It's easier to get along and we always have something to talk about. She's a vocal major and is far more musically talented than I.
New season of Metalocalypse started. It's awesome. If you haven't already, I suggest going out and buying the Dethklok CD. I'm not one for TV show music, but this CD could be the most metal CD out there.
Need to make a new resume. I'm trying to score a job at a lessons studio.
All in all, my life is going pretty good. Taking life day by day is so much easier

The end of the semester is on the horizon. Monday will seal the deal on whether or not I am worthy enough to take on the arduous task of integral calculus in the fall. I do have to say, college level mathematics is much different than any other subject in academia. The expectations of the professors/department are much higher than any other subject and the tests are a series of tactical trick questions aimed to make you pull your hair out.
Saving a lot of my earnings this summer (from new students and old), I went out and bought something I've always wanted. A Martin guitar. A Martin D15 dreadnought with a solid mohogany top, back and sides to be exact.
I got a puppy. he's my new best friend. A grey miniature schnauzer. His name is Steve.
As of late I've been concerned about certain (personal) health issues I've been having and decided to be more concerned about my health. The past few months I have been exersizing everyday and eating healthy. As a result to my healthy choices, I have been feeling a little better.
A lot of my friends are moving to wisconsin. It's really wierd. I think most of my old running crew will end up there by the end of the summer. With this news I've decided to apply to the university of Madison Wisconsin. I doubt I will get in, but it would be nice to be some place new. I pretty much hate it here. The only thing keeping me here is my student career. UM is ALOT more money than Wayne, but it's a better school.

If you know me then chances are you know my closest friends. A few of them are leaving michigan at the end of the summer. Opportunity arose and they took it. And to honor this step in a new direction for the ones I call my friends, I am throwing them a farewell party. The party is for Dave, Josh, Tara and possibly Nick D. if he gets the job out of state (cross your fingers). And get this....If you knew or know them, you are invited. There is one catch, You must leave your grudges and dramas at home. I'm tired of old grudges and childhood drama. It's time to move forward and show these people off.
The party will be held in mid-july, I am thinking about july 15th. The date isn't final. I will post the final date once I get everyones reaction.

Life lately has been not so fun. Two of my really good friends are leaving michigan. One has job opportunities and the other joined the army. That's the last of the original circle of friends.
Me and the girl split....apparently she's moving on to better things. Haven't had a broken heart in a while. I feel so....emo.
I think I'm going to disappear for a while.

9:00 am - Update time

Ugh. This schedule of mine is making me insane. I have alot on my plate lately. I keep telling myself this will all be over soon. It will, and when it is, me thinks I will be leaving. Everyone has left here and soon its time for me to be the LAST rat to jump ship.
I've decided to get more students. I have fliers. I keep giving them to my friends to post in certain places, but ALAS!!! That just ends up with them giving me the run around, so I'll do it myself this time. If you would like to post any leave me a reply (with your email) and I'll send you the word document. I've printed out like 100 and I have about 10 left. (I think only 3 or 4 were posted)
This brings me to my friends. I need to hang out with them more and vice versa. I've been locking myself away in the basement humping my school books and guitar for audition week (only 3 weeks left). This gets me nowhere socially.

My mom quit smoking! I thought I'd never see this. I'm very proud of her.
I've been dancing around the idea of moving out. I would like to live in d-town, but I dont think that would be a very good idea. Maybe somewhere in south ferndale or warren. I have a problem with the funds though. In order for me to finish school and live on my own I need a roommate. The only potential friends for that position are unable to bunk with the N-Dawg. So detroit would be the only place that I could afford alone. I saw some nice Lofts and giant studio apartments for around 400. I could get a pretty roomy 1 bedroom for 295 - 385 according to some ads I looked at. But the reality of the situation is; I dont want to get raped. I think my ass is too sweet for detroit. Noone wants to room with a music student anyway. We tend to play music ALL hours of the night.
I want to start a band. Possibly a cover band. I love playing covers and cover bands are good for expanding your musical talent. Would anyone be interested in starting a cover band with me? Just for fun. I have no intentions on playing shows yet.

Heads Up for what it's worth ~ Michigan will launch a 30-day speeding ticket frenzy. The state estimates that 9 million dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. 1 million will go to pay state troopers overtime. There will be 50 state troopers on duty at all times patrolling the 6 main intersections and highways.

Now, 5 mph above the limit can justify a ticket and every state trooper is supposed to pull a car over and write a ticket every 10 minutes. If you work anywhere in the Detroit Metropolitan area, you must take one of there interstates, routes, or parkways. It's up to you how fast you are going when they do.

I hate musicals! It's not the music itself I hate, it's the context in which the stories are portrayed. Every single musical I've seen has made me want to kill myself. I am of course speaking of only the musicals that take themselves seriously. The writers need to pick a side: Make music or make a play. None of this in-between bullshit. And what I hate more than musicals are the people that sing along to the fucking musical CD while acting as the character. Those people immediately lose cool points.
Musicals are crappy opera's. I decided this while watching Chicago some years ago. Which is a sorry excuse of a movie by the way. People don't bust out singing in mid conversation. Jesus Christ man! Am I the only one who grinds their teeth at the thought of a musical? The only Musicals that are worthy of my approval are kids movies/ musicals. In pretend land it's ok to sing and dance in mid conversation. Adults don't need this outlet which is why I think being a mime would grant more artistic merit than being in a musical.
So in conclusion, fuck rent, cats, chicago (both the city and the musical), and every other musical.

Things have been nice. Hanging out with the GF, Finals and registration. I've been busy beaver this semester and the dam is almost finished.
Wayne state's staff is completely and utterly incompitent. Every employee is a student. This is a problem, because most college students couldn't wipe their ass, let alone give me any USEFUL information pertaining to my degree requirements. I have no clue what classes I'm taking next semester.
Christmas. I spent alot of money and I'm still not finished w/ shopping. I wish I had a skill which allowed me to make presents. Like Martha Stewart. If you would like to make/buy me something for xmas, I wont get offended ;-)
I'm starting to plan my next 2 tattooes. For body modification day this year, I'm thinking about getting a Leet tattoo. I got dibs on WTF? If anyone would like to join me in Leet tattoo goodness let me know.
The other tattoo I want on my back. I want to get a weeping willow tree, a little off center. I don't know any really good artists that will design this for me. If you do lemme know.
I've been slacking in the music area. Haven't had time to practice much with so much crap going on. I want to start a band, but what do I do with all this talent and no equipment? I rock on my classical guitar.

10:00 am - What to get a special friend for xmas

Since Josh doesnt read his friends page, I'll post this here. We all love josh, so I thought on this special xmas we could hire a clown to hang out with him for the entire day. This clown would be used to entertain on command and follow him anywhere he'd go. I dont know how much this would cost, but I'm guessing it'd be pricey. So I must enlist as many friends as possible to help pay for this brilliant idea. If I get a group of people together, Ill post clown prices/rates.
